WARWICKSHIRE SMES REMINDED OF DEADLINE FOR SKILLS SUPPORT GRANTS
Warwickshire businesses are being urged not to miss out on skills support grants before the deadline date of 31st March 2022. The grants will cover training until December 2022, however, all courses must be booked by the end of March. The fully-funded training focuses on helping businesses and individuals to upskill and reskill to raise productivity, and support business recovery post-COVID-19.
As one of the largest local providers of skills development, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training (CWCCT) is working in partnership with Warwick District Council (WDC) and delivering a package of targeted training for SME businesses. The cost is fully supported by WDC for businesses in the Warwick District locality.
Commenting on the funding opportunities available, Sally Lucas, Executive Director at CWCCT remarked: “We are helping a number of SMEs in Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth to access skills support with direct financial assistance. Eligible businesses need to act quickly as courses must be booked by the end of March 2022.
“Businesses and individuals are benefitting from a range of half and full-day courses, which combine theory and practice and are full of ideas to make a real difference in the workplace. The training courses include topics such as leadership and management, supervisory skills, customer care, and digital development, including Excel, everything from half-day seminars to longer accredited qualifications.
“We can also offer short, bespoke programmes of skills development that are designed around specific business needs. Our 2022 course directory is a useful starting point, along with our experienced advisors who are adept at identifying the right skills solution to meet business needs.
“Don’t forget, although the grants can be used for courses scheduled up to December 2022, the deadline to book all training courses is the end of March 2022. SME’s in the WDC geographical patch should get in touch with our Business Development Team to check their eligibility and secure their skills grants.”
