Supporting the Region's Skills Challenge

Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Training is forging ahead to support the region’s skills challenge and tackle a wasted pool of potential talent.

The Office for National Statistics reported that for the three months running up to the end of 2017, the highest unemployment rate in the UK was in the West Midlands at 5.4%, compared the national unemployment rate of 4.3%. Whilst at the same time many employers continue to experience difficulty in filling vacancies, holding back their growth and expansion plans.

Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Training is supporting them to widen their search, tap into a hidden pool of people and develop their skills through apprenticeships and other vocational training, some of which attracts funding and grants to help employers along the way.
