Staff Vacancy - Administrator (Apprenticeship Recruitment)
Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training is a leading provider of training and development, including apprenticeships for young people and adults, as well as business to business courses.
As an administrator for apprenticeship recruitment, you will support the Business Development Manager with activities to recruit apprentices for businesses across Coventry and Warwickshire as well as support organisations to upskill their existing staff.
You will be responsible for interviewing applicants and matching them to suitable apprenticeship job roles, as well as offering those already in employment advice as to how apprenticeship learning can enhance their careers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for onboarding apprentices, verifying their suitability and eligibility for apprenticeship learning. You will also support employers to access apprenticeships.
Summary:
- Administer the recruitment of apprentices
- Liaise with employers to identify staffing needs and apprenticeship job requirements
- Screen applicants to identify suitable vocational training opportunities
- Conduct interviews and assess fit for apprenticeship training
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with employers and candidates
- Source apprenticeship employment opportunities with employers
- Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Build effective relationships with employers
Required:
- Self-motivated and committed to achieving targets
- Experience as a Recruiter or similar role (preferred)
- Experience working within the education / apprenticeships sector (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent relationship management abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle on a daily basis
Job Type - Full-time/Part-Time
Salary: £25,000
