Rose Wins 'Apprentice of the Year' Award at Q Awards

Rose Fernando, one of Chamber Training’s Health and Social Care apprentices, won ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for his commitment to helping others in the community. The annual Q Awards are a celebration of the dedicated people and teams that make up Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) and their excellent work to improve the lives of the people and communities they support. Rose was shortlisted between 5 other individuals and won ‘Apprentice of the Year’.

Annette Keane, Training Advisor at Chamber Training, says: “Rose has contributed to classroom sessions and discussions and produced excellent written work for both mandatory and optional work demonstrating a clear understanding and knowledge of his job role as Lead Adult Care worker hence the nomination.”

Rose works for the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust as a Support Worker as part of the Enrolment Pathway for individuals working within the Mental Health Department within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. Rose helps struggling individuals to help reach their goals and get back into the community.

Rose says: “I felt so shocked when I found out that I won and was extremely grateful! I really enjoy my apprenticeship and the opportunities it has given me. I thoroughly enjoy working and learning about how to care for others.”
