FUNDED MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR ELIGIBLE WARWICKSHIRE SMEs
Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training (CWCCT) is working in partnership with Warwick District Council (WDC) to offer eligible Warwickshire SME businesses an opportunity to gain management skills using funded training. Eligible SMEs can choose from a range of courses throughout 2022, however all must be booked by 31st March 2022.
One of the wide variety of courses available using the funded training programme is the ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills. The four-day, nationally recognised qualification is starting in March and is aimed at new and aspiring team leaders. It focuses on developing management skills, enhancing team performance, and exploring leadership styles and is the ideal launchpad for a career in management.
Commenting on the funding opportunity, Sally Lucas, Executive Director at CWCCT remarked: “The ILM level 2 focusses on helping new and aspiring team leaders to develop the core skills they need to successfully lead a team and a confident, competent people manager. The course is highly practical, so equip individuals with skills and knowledge that can be readily applied in the workplace, generating significant benefits to the business.
“This fantastic opportunity is for SMEs in Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth to access skills support with financial assistance. Although the funding can be used for courses scheduled post-March, the deadline to book places is the end of March 2022.
“We also offer a range of half and full-day courses, which combine theory `and practice and are full of ideas to make a real difference in the workplace. Topics include leadership and management, supervisory skills, customer care, and digital development, including Excel, everything from half-day seminars to longer accredited courses. We also offer short, bespoke programmes of skills development that are designed around specific business needs.”
