Chamber Training Supports #CWRocks

Companies attending one of the biggest business events in the region can get the full low down on how skills, workforce development and apprenticeships could give their firms a boost.

Chamber Training is supporting the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s #CWRocks expo at the Ricoh Arena on Friday, March 9.

And the leading provider of apprenticeships and business to business training courses will be bringing its pop up skills shop to the event to give expert information to help businesses make informed decisions about workforce development, including apprenticeships.

Sally Lucas, of Chamber Training, said: “Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Training is a leading provider of training and development, including apprenticeships, higher education and business to business courses.

“We design staff training to provide your team with the latest industry skills and knowledge to grow and succeed.

“Our apprenticeships offer a great opportunity to develop existing staff as well as attract fresh new talent to take the business forward in the future.

“Our advisers will be available at the Expo to guide you in how to develop and grow your team in a cost effective and simple way, so why not come along to our pop-up shop to find out more!”

Chamber Training is the latest organisation to back #CWRocks which is forecast to attract hundreds of business people providing an opportunity to network with fellow firms from across the region.

Not only that, but the event will feature for the first time Learning Labs sessions which will hear from a triumphant David Burbidge, the Chairman of the Coventry City of Culture Trust, who will explain the benefits of the UK City of Culture 2021 title and how businesses can get involved.

That will be followed by a panel discussion on Future Proofing Your Business and growing in 2018.

The Chamber’s hugely influential Brexit Club will be holding a session that looks at the latest developments on the UK exit from the EU and where businesses stand in the One Year On…One Year To Go discussion.

The final element of Learning Labs has seen the Chamber partner with the Digital Garage, delivered by Google, which is a digital skills training platform designed to assist companies in growing their business, career and confidence, online.

A Google digital expert will deliver the session to teach firms what is needed to gain a competitive advantage in the ever-changing digital landscape.
