Teeing off for Success
Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Training is celebrating the first achievement for ILM supported through the European Funded Skills 4 Growth programme.
Two managers Clair Duffy and Sarah Bomphrey from Hearsall Golf Club in Coventry have successfully completed the ILM Level 2 qualification and they are going to take their newly acquired skills into their day-to-day leadership roles.
Hearsall Golf Club is based in Earlsdon, Coventry and has an active membership of more than 500 including men, ladies and juniors. The company is very forward thinking and actively encourages its staff to challenge themselves and achieve qualifications to help them move forward.
Commenting Jan Ryan, Operations Director at Chamber Training said: “The ILM qualification is challenging but with the expertise of our tutors we can help candidates to learn what is required from them in order to succeed in their chosen pathways. It is a nationally recognised qualification and the ideal launch pad for any management career.
“At Chamber Training we consistently achieve higher than average pass rates across all levels of training and we are finding that more and more candidates have an improved performance through the learning and development qualifications we can offer,” concludes Jan.
Chamber Training are a delivery partner on the Skills 4 Growth Programme which is part funded by the European Social Fund and managed by the Coventry City Council. With up to 50% funding may be available for this qualification, subject to eligibility, through Coventry & Warwickshire Skills 4 Growth which supports eligible SMEs to improve skills amongst their workforce.
