Millie's HR Apprenticeship Journey

Millie Young has recently embarked on her exciting journey as an HR Apprentice at Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce with a Business Administration Level 3 NVQ.

After finishing her A Levels during Covid, Millie had found that it was a challenge to renter the world of full-time learning and that is when she discovered the career progression you can achieve with apprenticeships with the continued on-the-job learning at Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training. Millie is now able to gain valuable experience, qualifications and earn money.

Millie is really benefitting from the learning structure of the program with continued support from her manager, the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training apprenticeship tutors and the team. The classes have already started to develop her confidence during the day-to-day duties within her role including communicating via email or on the telephone both internally and externally to Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce. She has developed her ability to manage and prioritize tasks that need to be completed, allowing her to work efficiently to a high standard.

The opportunities are vast, they give you the experience that employers look for in candidates and help you become more confident while gaining a range of transferable skills that will benefit your future! The support I have received has been amazing from Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training and they are keen to see me develop my skills and are always there to help and guide me on what I need to do next to do to achieve my career goals.”
