Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training provides Adult Care apprenticeships from Level 2 through to Level 5. Our Level 5 Adult Care Leadership and Management Diploma caters to those in senior positions within the sector, demanding a demonstration of effective practice and comprehensive comprehension of leadership and management in Adult Care services. Tailored towards managers and senior staff, this Level 5 Diploma is ideal for those seeking to enhance their skills or update their existing knowledge while handling management responsibilities within an Adult Care environment.

Tell us about yourself?
“I am Irene Keeling, Senior Care Worker at Copthorne Lodge, I have been here about 8 years, but with Council 33 years. I have completed a Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma with Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training. “
How has your apprenticeship helped you with your job role?
“It's been great to get a better understanding of my job role to understand policy and procedures better, and to get a refresher on everything. “
What do you feel are the benefits of doing an apprenticeship?
“ I found the apprenticeship very beneficial for my job role as a Senior Care worker. However I found that doing Maths and English alongside the apprenticeship was hard, so therefore it is important to be organised and prepared.“
What advice would you give to others considering going onto a level 5 apprenticeship?
“Be prepared for lots of hard work and effort, and lots of studying. As an apprentice, you have to dedicate lots of time to it.”
