Empowering Careers: Direct Air's Commitment to Apprenticeships with Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training work closely with Direct Air that supports apprenticeships to upskill and recruit staff.

Direct Air & Pipework was established in 1993 from the complimentary skillsets of compressed air and pipework with the ambition of providing a service to Midlands engineering. Direct Air’s head office is located in Binley, which is described as the beating heart of their business and its central location allows them to respond to customers across the UK. Many apprentices have progressed in their roles within Direct Air with training from Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training including Georgia Lucas who started her career as a Business Administration apprentice before progressing into the role of their Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator. Georgia now manages two apprentices that are working towards completing their Business Administration apprenticeship.

Georgia says: “I think apprenticeships are beneficial because they’re a great way to continue learning whilst earning money and becoming part of the team at your workplace.

Apprenticeships also offer the chance to gain real-world experience in a professional setting. By working alongside experienced professionals in the workplace, apprentices can learn first-hand from the best and gain hands-on experience which will be invaluable for their future and career development.
