BeechwoodTrees and Landscapes Ltd Invests in Employee Growth

Working in partnership with Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training, Beechwood Trees and Landscapes Ltd recognises the importance of investing in skills to enable the company to provide high-level specialist arboriculture, landscaping and site services across the UK.  One key aspect of this has been the investment in management development and the need to ensure that the business is well-managed to deliver business growth and return.  Just one example is the recognition of the vital importance people management has in the business. Beechwood Trees and Landscapes identified a need to ensure effective skills in appraisal and performance management. Working with Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training,  the team completed a training course, Appraising People and Performance, which enabled them to gain skills in setting goals and objectives, reviewing performance, providing feedback and identifying further development needs.

Trainer, Sharon Miles, provided a wealth of information, practical insight and activities, including scenarios to equip the team with the knowledge and confidence to take their new learning back into the workplace and apply it in action. The delegates found the course an invaluable time to discuss how to develop their teams and ways in which to ensure a productive and motivated team. It proved to be time well spent, empowering people to effectively manage their staff.
